Sweet, delicious, nutritious and healthy – of all the new Natureland breads, Sunny Loaf has the best and most distinctive flavors, and so does its nutritional content. We start by preparing the coarse rye and fermenting the dough, bringing all the whole grains together to maximize their nutrients and enhance their bioavailability (which is achieved by the probiotic bacteria in the fermented dough).
Sunflower seeds are also added to provide a good amount of vitamins, trace minerals, fiber and beneficial plant fatty acids (monounsaturated fats). For a sweeter taste, we also add a small amount of beetroot molasses to intensify the earthy flavors of this wonderful sunflower bread. Sea salt is also added to enhance the flavor and for preservation and storage purposes.
The end result is a luxurious bread that can be enjoyed in all the ways bread is enjoyed – not to mention its other added benefits! It is packed with extra nutrients and healthy fiber, and the risk of intestinal inflammation is much lower than regular bread sold in supermarkets.
