This handmade bread is baked with love, using wholegrain spelt (rather than milled spelt), which preserves all the healthy parts of the grain: the endosperm, bran, and germ, along with wholegrain crisp rye and wholemeal flour. This ensures that a significant amount of nutrients, often processed from most supermarket breads, are retained, including B vitamins (such as folic acid), magnesium, whole grain fiber, calcium, and much more.

Fortunately, partly due to the way it's grown, the ingredients in our wheat bread cereals (including the wheat itself) are only carefully selected, heirloom varieties that have been used for centuries for their nutritional value and flavor, not their shelf life. All ingredients are certified organic, and the dough undergoes sourdough fermentation before baking, a process known to improve shelf life, increase nutrient availability, and provide anti-inflammatory benefits for the digestive tract.
